  The Spirit of Lamech — A Bible Study (Genesis 4:19–26) What is meant by “the Spirit of Lamech”? In Scripture, the word spirit often refers not to a specific demon, but to a mindset, disposition, or way of operating (for example: a spirit of fear, a spirit of wisdom, a humble spirit). So when we speak of the Spirit of Lamech , we are describing the attitude, posture, and moral pattern Lamech represents , not necessarily a literal spirit-being. He Hath Made Everything Beautiful In It's Time

  Ecclesiastes 3:11 — KJV “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…” When we look at a beautiful vase of flowers, we see the finished product. We don't usually think about everything that had to happen before that vase of flowers was created. Somebody had to make the vase. Someone had to plant the seeds and water the flowers. There had to be pruning and tending along the way. And it took craftsmanship and time to create the vase that holds them. The things we're believing God for can take time too. Everything has a season, and God knows when the time is right. Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that life has seasons. There is “a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” Then, in verse 11, we are told: “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.” One of the hardest things about trusting God is that His time isn't always our time.   The Little Foxes that Spoil the Vine Song of Solomon 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.   In the ancient world, vineyards were extremely valuable. A vineyard required planting, pruning, protecting, and patience before it produced a harvest.  Little foxes can slip into a vineyard unnoticed. And because they can’t reach the grapes on the vine, they dig around the roots and damage the young vines, trying to get to the fruit. In the process, they harm the vine and destroy the developing grapes.  What are the little foxes in our lives? Little foxes are the small things that we let slide because we think they won’t matter.   Many Christians listen to sermons online, but are these teachers truly of God? The Bible warns that false teachers exist. This checklist is a simple tool to help believers evaluate teaching using biblical principles. It is not meant to judge people harshly, but to encourage discernment and a test to see if what you're listening to is biblically sound. Biblical Teacher Discernment Checklist Use this while watching a sermon or video. Just mentally check ✔ or ✖. 1. Is Jesus the center of the message? ✔ The message focuses mainly on: Jesus the cross repentance salvation living for Christ Scripture basis: “We preach Christ crucified.” — 1 Corinthians 1:23 2.
